Water drops
Inspired to try some macro water drop shots by Tara Lemana (see links) whom Beth and I helped this weekend setup and run her first exhibition, I decided to try a few shots.
More a technical test than artistic (didn’t bother setting up any backgrounds or interesting subjects for the reflections) but still not bad results I think.
Shelby close-ups
As promised, some new photos of the kitty, it being a rather hot day she is feeling lazy and thus allowed me to do some close ups (rather than taking the opportunity to come up for a snuggle when I’m laying on the floor with the camera…).
Napier
A few shots (as I was under orders from blighty to take some) of Napier taken during a brief trip there.
Queen Charlotte Track
71km, 4 days and a great walk.
Wellington and The Hutt
A shot stitched from 5 shots taken from the hills near Wainuiomata, B wanted the flood plain photographed for some flooding project but thought it an OK panorama anyway.
Alcatraz B&W
These are a few from Alcatraz, taken with a Takumar 55mm prime, converted to B&W as I thought it worked well.
San Francisco – 2
More shots from San Francisco taken over a couple of days.
San Francisco – 1
A very foggy, drizzly day led me to stick a small Industar 50-2 prime on the camera so it would fit in my pocket and wander into the city centre. Decided to jump on the cable car down to the Piers and the got the other cable car back.
